🔒 New Background Screening Requirement: Cleared to Care (Effective July 1, 2025)
As of July 1, 2025, all health care practitioners in Florida—including Licensed Dietitians/Nutritionists—must comply with new background screening requirements to obtain or renew a license.

A: Fingerprints stored by FDLE for 5 years for screening purposes.
