Food Service Director

This position requires a leader who can motivate, direct and lead a staff of associates to success. You must have excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers. Must have high sanitation standards and practices, HACCP experience, and a passion for quality foodThe Food Service Director prepares budgets and controls expenses. Candidate will be responsible for the operations, staffing, profitability and development of the unit. As a Food Service Director you will provide overall planning, direction and control to in order to achieve both operational and financial goals. The Food Service Director provides guidance, development and motivation to unit staff. The Director ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management, meeting and exceeding stated expectations. Responsible for all foodservice-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering etc), quality improvement and sanitation. 

Qualifications:* Requires to be licensed in the State of Florida

* Must have Joint Commission experience

* Experience in managing a food service operation. 
* Must possess Strategic/Critical thinking skills to collaborate on dining services operations.
* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership strength to an hourly staff.
 
* Provide direction for selection, training , development and supervision.
 
* Fiscal management experience including managing budgets within company and client targets.
 
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively.
 
* Liaison between company resources and client.
 
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required. Bachelors degree in nutrition, dietetics, hospitality, business or other related field preferred

Key Responsibilities include the following:* Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver finished food product to clients
* Responsible for receiving and managing food production activities of hourly employees
* Directly supervise employees with responsibility for training
* Ensures appropriate sanitation standards and requirements are met
 
* Responsible for insuring procedural compliance in support of workplace safety
* Inventory control
* Ensure HAACP Compliance
* Responsible for all aspects of Employee training
* Responsible for insuring compliance with standards, procedures and specifications

Requirements:* Completion of ServSafe and required local health department certification is necessary
* Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food service with minimum 5 years experience
* Minimum 5 years management experience
* Must be a Registered Dietitian
* Food Service Degree preferred
* Prior experience in a high volume operation
* Effective oral and written skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with administration, employees, and nutrition services staff
* Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

CLINICAL/ASSISTANT  Professor  (9-MONTH)

Qualifications: PhD in dietetics, nutrition or related discipline from an accredited institution.  Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required. Demonstrated experience in supervision of practice programs, teaching/research, competency in scholarship and/or creative activities and food service management. The ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community is also important.

Duties and Responsibilities: This  new faculty member will be the Director of the Coordinate Program (CP) and as such responsible for the program accreditation [The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)] process including the creation of regular reports and development of systems to ensure that the program meets all accreditation standards. This individual will be responsible for undergraduate student advising and teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses preferably in the area of food service management as well as other didactic and clinical courses. The new faculty member will demonstrate a commitment to the university and will be expected to participate in departmental, college and university service.

This position is 30 hours a week at an onsite facility acting as an Aetna representative for the HLC unit.Candidate is required to have 3+ years face-to-face coaching experience, preferably in a Wellness setting.POSITION SUMMARY
Utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to engage, educate, and promote/influence members in decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal nutritional status.We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to work in an on-site facility in Jacksonville. You will play a pivotal role in the Wellness team through coaching and developing effective care coordination and self care for members who are actively participating in our Healthy Lifestyle Coaching program. The ideal candidate will possess the many skills necessary to expertly assist members in identifying modifiable risk factors and coaching on lifestyle changes necessary to reduce risk.Collaboration with Healthy Lifestyle Coaching team is an integral part of this position. In addition, this role will develop and provide occasional educational presentations to members. Minimum 3 years of recent experience. Strong knowledge of major health behavior models including Motivational Interviewing. Experience in weight management. Possess strong verbal, written communication skills, computer and keyboarding skills. This is a 30 hour per week position, candidate must be flexible in scheduling to meet business needs-Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred. 
-Registration from the American Dietetic Association required (RD). Licensure/certification as required by state.
